Mummies, you rock.

Dear Mummies,

please know how loved and cared for you are.

Today and always.

Don’t ever doubt in yourself and your abilities.

Even if you may not fulfil your own (very high) expectations of yourself as a mother, believe me

you are doing a great, great job.

Your kids adore you for who you are.

They don’t care – they may not even notice – what you consider „personal flaws“.

They love you unconditionally since they first set eyes on you.

Even if you may forget it from time to time, you not only are a mother. You are yourself, too.

So whenever you read this.

Allow yourself a few moments in which you put yourself first today.

You deserve this.

Re-charge your batteries.

Re-vitalize.

Breathe.

Smile.

Thank your body for carrying you through every day.

For having grown life.

For being your friend.

Thank your mind for giving you endless amounts of energy and strength,

even at times when you thought there was none left.

Be grateful for who you are. Inside and out.

Because those who love you are, too.

Always remember, NOW is a good moment to fill your life with meaning, love and happiness – of course, there will always be good days and bad days, but it can make a huge difference if you experience this unique life journey at peace with yourself rather than as your enemy/worst critic. Learn how to break free from imprisoning thoughts such as „what could others think of me?“, „do I look right?“, „am I ugly?“, „do I fit in?“ etc. It’s YOUR life and it’s precious! I believe in you!
